I know we’re not used to seeing Phil Ivey being really tormented after a bustout – but this one will sting for a LONG LONG time for sure…
Dave Garbacz vs Doyle Brunson, WSOP ‘07
I’m not too happy with calls like the one David Garbacz makes here against Doyle Brunson… With your Pocket Jacks, there’s only one hand Doyle can really have you’re a favorite against – and that’s a pair of tens (which is a stretch, I’m not sure Doyle would play them this fast). David should have known Doyle was holding AT LEAST AK, AQs type of hand – and the Jacks should have landed in the muck with his tournament life on the line…
Then again – the call was good seeing the hole cards afterwards, and Doyle got lucky…
